Special Latin Masses this Week

This Wednesday June 18 at 6:00 p.m., in lieu of the regular Low Mass, Saint Ann will offer a special Solemn High Mass. The occasion is the Quo Vadis vocation discernment days. All are welcome to attend this sublime Mass. Looking ahead, this Thursday is the Feast of Corpus Christi and we share the schedule as announced.

Trinity Sunday

This Sunday is Holy Trinity Sunday. One week after celebrating the descent of the Third Person of the Trinity at Pentecost, we celebrate our triune God: Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Ember Days: Praying and Fasting for the Traditional Latin Mass

Today begins the Ember Days of Pentecost, where the Church – in the Traditional Latin Mass calendar – sets aside three days of prayer and fasting (now voluntary) at the beginning of each natural season to give thanks to God

Welcome to our weekly Sunday update. This Sunday is Pentecost, one of the principal feasts in the liturgical cycle of the Church: a day of joyful celebration, commemorating the descent of the Holy Ghost on the Apostles, on the fiftieth day of the Easter season.

Announcement: Parish Latin Masses extended to October 2

The Diocese of Charlotte just announced that all Latin Masses will be allowed to continue in diocesan parishes until October 2nd. This replaces the July 8th deadline originally announced a few weeks ago.

Sunday after the Ascension

This Sunday is the Sunday after the Ascension. In the Gospel reading for this Sunday we return to the Farewell Discourse delivered by Our Lord to His disciples following the Last Supper.
